Organisational Development

We partner directly with organisations to better understand your goals and objectives, and create customised solutions designed to fuel employee energy, engagement, focus and productivity.

Here's a glimpse of our four-step process:

Assessment: Understanding the unique challenges you face

We collaborate with you to fully assess and understand your people and capacity-related challenges so we can recommend the best course of action. One of the primary tools we use is our Organisational Energy Audit. The OEA is designed to assess and quantify the ways in which your organisation’s current culture, practices and policies are influencing employee energy, engagement, productivity and performance.

Solution: Harnessing the science of high performance

Based on these findings, we work with you to better meet the key needs of your employees so they’re fuelled and inspired to bring the best of themselves to work every day.

This process operates on two levels. On one, we typically work consultatively with senior leaders to address the key unmet energy needs surfaced by the Organisational Energy Audit. This can include building new policies and practices, different communication strategies and revisiting the organisation’s values, purpose and mission.

The second level of our work focuses on training individuals, from senior leaders to line employees, to better and more systematically meet their four key energy needs to fuel more sustainable high performance.

Our core curriculum, A Better Way of Working, is comprised of four half-day modules that focus on physical, emotional, mental and spiritual energy. These modules can be delivered in a variety of ways, depending on your needs and preferences. At the conclusion of this work, individuals build personal “rituals” – highly specific behaviours they implement at specific times of day to more skillfully manage their energy across each of the four dimensions.

Typically, our facilitators deliver A Better Way of Working to senior executives. When organisations begin to roll out our curriculum more widely, we also offer a Train the Trainer programme which allows you to use internal trainers for delivery. (see Train the Trainer)

Coaching: Ensuring change that lasts

As part of our commitment to driving behaviour changes that last, our programme includes more individualised follow up coaching. This work, conducted one-to-one or in small groups, helps participants to design, implement, adapt and sustain the rituals they build, and to overcome the inevitable obstacles that arise along the way.

Follow-up: Evaluating Results

Once our programmes and coaching are complete, we work with you to evaluate the impact of the work based on the metrics that you’ve deem most important. We can also do this through “pre” and “post” assessments. In addition, we offer a variety of online tools and in-person refresher and follow-up courses that help programme participants stay on track, and deepen their understanding and practice over time.

This four-step process has consistently driven the highest levels of success with our clients. At the same time, we’re happy to discuss ways that we can customise our approach and our offerings to meet unique needs your organisation may have.
